E. Martin Davidoff, East Brunswick, was recently named one of the “Top 100 Most Influential People in Accounting” by Accounting Today magazine due to the fact that “his views on issues affecting tax practice are heard at the highest levels of government.” Davidoff is a CPA and tax attorney, and founder and firm manager of E. Martin Davidoff & Associates, Dayton section of South Brunswick, which specializes in IRS problems resolution. He is also founder and chair of the American Association of Attorney-Certified Public Accountants’ IRS tax liaison committee. Additionally, he is a co-author of New Jersey’s S-corporation legislation, was named Accountant Advocate of the Year in 1997 by the U.S. SBA, and was appointed by Gov. Christine Todd Whitman as a delegate to the 1995 White House Conference on Small Business.
