From New York and Staten Island proceed South on the New Jersey Turnpike. Get off at Exit 9. At the toll booth set your trip odometer to zero (0.0). You are now 6.1 miles from the Davidoff house.

Bear left out of the toll booth toward South River and East Brunswick onto Route 18 South (East). You will encounter the 1st traffic light at Eggers Street and Kennedy Boulevard (0.7) and a 2nd traffic light just past Loehmann's Plaza and Toys 'R Us (1.1). Turn right at the 3rd traffic light (1.6) onto Tices Lane. As you make the turn you will notice a small "Dunkin Donuts" store in the small strip mall on the near right corner. You may also notice that your right turn onto Tices Lane is just before a "Circuit City".

Make a left at the 4th traffic light which you encounter onto Route 617 South (Ryders Lane) (2.9). You should notice a "Cleaners" and a "7-Eleven" on the far left corner of the intersection as you make the left turn.

The 4th traffic light you encounter will be at the corner of Milltown Road (4.2), where you will see two gas stations, a Walgreens and a WaWa. You will turn right at the 5th traffic light onto Dunham's Corner Road (5.1). You will notice a fire house on the far right corner and a church on the far left corner.

Make your third left onto Fern Road (5.7). The turn is made just after the road bends to the left. You will notice some concrete dividers in the road surface as you make the turn.

NOTE: Please note that new traffic lights are installed periodically. Therefore, the traffic light count may not be precise at any given point in time. That is why I have provided landmarks for additional verification.
