Marty began the firm on December 1, 1981. The firm seeks to provide the highest level of expertise in a warm and friendly environment. Prior to 1981, Marty had worked at the CPA firms of Richard A. Eisner & Company in New York City and Leonard C. Green & Co. in Woodbridge, New Jersey. Marty earned his undergraduate degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an MBA from the Boston University Graduate School of Management, and a JD from the Washington University in St. Louis School of Law. Marty is a frequent lecturer to other CPA's, co-authored the New Jersey S Corporation Legislation, and was Governor Whitman's appointee to the 1995 White House Conference on Small Business Administration as the Accountant Advocate of the Year for both New Jersey and the Region. Marty currently serves as the national Chair of the Internal Revenue Service Tax Liaison Committee for the American Association of Attorney-Certified Public Accountants. Marty and his wife Sheila have two daughters. Their daughters, Sherri and Laura, have recently graduated college from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Washington University in St. Louis, respectively. |
